Pack up your imagination, compass and a book about Pompeii like “The Complete Pompeii” and go down in history to a labyrinth of streets, neighborhoods and what not. Just before we reached anti-climax and severe exhaustion, we hit the Circumvesuviana (railway), that still flirts with the dangers of Mount Vesuvius, back to Napoli. Avoid: Big White Touring Buses. Hop on the train!
